Personal Details:
Married to Malcolm for 13yrs and have a son, Elliot 9yrs and a daughter, Hayley 5yrs. Always lived in Te Atatu North apart from OE. Played every sport possible since I was a kid but have come back to the best, Football and secondly, Tennis. Enjoy being around for my kids and value working for myself a few days a week as a Customs Broker.

Playing History:
Played at primary school and tried to play for local club but in those days girls didn’t play in the same team as boys! Was the youngest in Te Atatu women’s team for a few years but gave up and then tried every other sport in between coming back to Te Atatu women’s club football in 2003. We went undefeated in 2003, and I only let in 9 goals all season! Got into Te Atatu women’s summer soccer two years ago and joined Bella last year. Will be playing until that’s impossible…and then I’ll be a referee!! And now, being keeper is a great challenge but not as satisfying as being amongst all the action in midfield.

Greatest Football Memories:
Playing with Bella United, what an awesome bunch of girls.
Scoring my first ever goal last year! Scored from the edge of the box and then ended up with my face in the mud, seeing out the corner of my eye the ball hit the back of the net! Watching Liverpool take European Cup last year was pretty cool too!

Not So Great Football Memories:
Running into the goalpost at night training before the beginning of this season and concussing myself. (Hey, it was dark!) Resulting ‘egg’ not a pretty sight, nor were the two black eyes! But it’s just part and parcel of us goalies putting our bodies on the line every week!

Brief Testimony:
Attended Sunday school only very occasionally as a child. That and being told there was a God, was the extent of my contact with Christianity until I was 18 when I got baptised and experienced Christianity fully. I walked away a year later. Then four years ago I joined the statistics on mothers of young children returning to their faiths. Since then the constancy of being involved with our loving and living God is better than scoring a goal every day!
For me the beginning of Psalm 23 speaks the infinite wonders of Gods promises…
The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not be in want.
